So the first real post in a long time. I would have to say I am quite proud of what I have whipped up this time.
Bread baking is something I haven’t dabbled in much. I’ve made banana bread as you’ve seen, but that is a different kind of bread. There’s no yeast in that shit. It doesn’t have to rise. You just combine the ingredients and put then in a loaf pan. Done. BAM. Delicious bananay bread in your mouth.
These long things that you see on the baking sheet are none other than baguettes. Now, I love me some baguettes so I was a little hesitant to make them. They seem like something you have to spend years and years practicing to make the perfect baguette. That’s probably true, but I mean these tasted pretty good. Like good enough for me not to be disgusted in myself and give up baking forever. They also made some damn good french toast.
What was I listening to while I made these? Esperanza Spalding. I don’t want to jinx anything and say that she’s my future wife or anything like that, but she’s my future wife. I’m not even super into the whole marriage thing, but I feel like for her I could make an exception. She’s come onto me a few times, but I have to play hard to get for now. It’s just not the right time in my life for m to settle down like that as much as she wants it. HA! In all seriousness though I’ve met her before and have been cliniced by her before and she’s amazing. Her whole vibe is so cool. Just on a different level. It totally comes through in her music as well. It’s so groovy and cool. Her voice is amazing and she has like the nicest bass sound ever, and her time feel is just like out of this world. You should check her out if you haven’t already.
Also on a totally different note, my friend Gabby and I will be starting a food tumblr together. I think it’s going to be awesome for many reasons. We both like to cook, Gabby has a bomb-ass camera that takes amazing pictures, Gabby is a sassy bitch (in a good way of course), Gabby will most likely keep me on my shit when it comes to posting shit on the tumblr, I’ll be way less busy then I was last term so I’ll have more time to post stuff, I think this whole bread baking thing is going to turn into a regular thing, and once we think of a great name for this new blog, there’s nothing standing in our way to getting upwards of 20 followers. HOLLA.
Once that gets up and running I’ll post the link.

Dear loyal followers,
You may have noticed I haven’t posted jack dookie in many months. Well that’s all about to change starting with this post. Granted this post isn’t exactly anything exciting or interesting to read, but I will soon be posting food and music and stuff again. The time is near. My facebook is gone, and hopefully I’ll take at least some of that time and energy I was spending on that and put it into posting stuff on Tumblr. I know, it’s risky, it may not pan out for you or me, but I’m going to give it all I’ve got.
It’s about to be a musical bread baking, mexican food making fiesta up in dis bitch. Get pumped.

Ah yes. Tumblr. Long time no post. The main reason I’m posting this is because I have a paper to write, but I’d rather do this. I made this song the other day and it’s not really done. I mean it’s finished, but I still want to do a lot of stuff with. Change stuff and all that jazz, but I wanted to post it anyways. I was messin around with a lot of effects just for funsies/practice. I was tryin to get the trumpet in the beginning to sound far away or something. As far as the wah effect on the trumpet in the middle, that was just for shits and giggles. Since it’s like an automatic wah as opposed to one you control with like a pedal or something, it’s cool to see the interesting places it wahs in and out. So yeah! That’s pretty much it! I promise I’ll post something incredibly delicious soon. Alright. Cool. Byyyyye.
